We will visit Pienza in the morning and learn about the history of Pope Pius II, who built it as his ideal dream of perfection.
We will visit an authentic farm where the famous Pecorino di Pienza cheese is produced and learn many things about its production.
Lunch in a typical traditional restaurant, and in the afternoon, a walk in the ancient town of Montepulciano, which already existed in Etruscan times and is now one of the best-preserved towns.
We will taste its VINO NOBILE, an excellent red wine made from Sangiovese grapes, and immerse ourselves in one of the historic cellars where wine has been aged for centuries in ancient, silent underground caves.
